Zoo Memories

This year I decided to get a zoo pass. It was only $59 for a family pass for the whole year. So we go about once a month and the kids love it. Plus it is one of the only things to do in Dallas when people come to visit.
One of our favorite exhibits is the peguins because they swim up to glass. I think it is really cool! My sister Kaylee came with is this summer and she liked it too because peguins are her favorite animal (She has a picture of a peguin in her wallet. This isn't a joke, it's a fact to help you understand how much she really LOVES peguins!).
Scott always says that his favorite animals are the elephants and the giraffes. Maybe it's because they are the biggest animals in the zoo. I think that Scott feels a special connection to them because they really understand what it's like to be bigger than everyone you know.
This gorilla seriously sits by this glass all the time. He is there everytime we go. One time he was entertaining some kids by picking his nose and eating it for them. The kids were laughing hysterically. He seems like a really smart gorilla . . .

This is my cousin Katie. She came to stay with us for a couple days. We had so much fun with her. My kids love her!

Chris. I'm glad you have a blog too and no, mine is not way cuter than yours! Even though I outdo you in the "cute department" (that made me laugh BTW), at least you're skinny minny and not prego and about to pop!! I hear you're wasting away, but I hope you're feeling better! Can't wait to see you in a few months (hopefully)!

Hey Christy, thanks for getting back to me, so fun. I will let you know when we know if it is Dallas or not. I have so many questions but want to wait until we know for sure, since I am trying to not get too invested or excited. We did hear from them this week though, and they are in talks and negotiations that shouldn't last much longer.

I looked up Lewisville on the map, are you serious that that area is only 15 minutes from Dallas? It seems like it would take longer. He has looked at a few jobs in the area, one was in Richardson and one was in Irving, but this one is in actual Dallas. Anyway, thanks for all of your offers to help, that will be fun, I'll let you know!
